Dr. Linda Martin graduated from Colorado State University in 1990. She currently is an Assistant Professor and head of the Critical Care Unit at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Dr. Lenore Bacek, DACVECC

Dr. Bacek is originally from New Jersey. She graduated from Ross University in 2007 after completing a clinical year at North Carolina State University. In her free time, she enjoys Zumba, running and spending time outdoors with her three dogs.

Dr. Ashley Durrance

Dr. Durrance graduated from Mississippi University in 2010 and completed a rotating internship at the University of Florida. She is originally from Lecanto, Florida. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, running and playing with her dogs.

Amy Mcgouryk

Amy is originally from Douglas, Georgia. She received her veterinary technician degree from Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky in 2003. She originally started emergency/critical care training at University of Georgia and moved to Auburn in 2008. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her Dachshund, Heidi. Amy has a special interest in cardiology, nutrition, ventilator management and coagulopathies.

 Dr. Kendon Kuo

Dr. Kendon Kuo grew up in California and graduated from the University of California, Davis: School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. In his free time, he enjoys music, movies, eating, and anything involving the outdoors.

Dr. Odunayo graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2005. She is originally from Nigeria and completed a residency in emergency and critical care at the University of Missouri. She enjoys post operative management of critically ill patients and management of the mechanically ventilated patient.

Dr. Lee Palmer

Dr. Palmer is a 2006 graduate of Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After receiving his DVM he served three years in the US Army Veterinary Corps (active component) where he deployed to Iraq from Oct 2007 to Jan 2009 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Dr. Palmer continues to serve as a veterinarian in the US Army Veterinary Service (Reserve Component). He is currently an Emergency/Critical Care resident at Auburn University CVM and his major interests are trauma/hemorrhagic shock resuscitation and coagulation disorders.

Paula is originally from Palmetto, Florida. She has been with the Auburn Critical Care unit for 5 years. Paula has a special interest in sepsis, snake bites and neurologic emergencies. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and shopping.

 Stephanie Pitzer, LVT, VTS (ECC)

Stephanie graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in Denver, Colorado in 1998. She received her specialty certification in Emergency/Critical Care in 2002. Stephanie enjoys coagulation medicine, mechanical ventilation and transfusion medicine. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys vacationing in the Caribbean and spending time with her dog L.E.

 Sharon Price
